The politician has been in the KPJ Sabah Specialist Centre in Damai since Tuesday for medical reasons.

MACC prosecutor Mohd Faliq Basiruddin said the commission will seek a bond of RM50,000.

“We will be arranging the paperwork here, due to his health condition. We will bring the guarantors and paperwork to him,” said Mohd Faliq.

Magistrate Cindy McJuce Balistus was brought to the specialist centre to release him from remand.

Lawyer Martin Tommy said his client was currently recuperating, but declined to comment further.
