KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 17 — An unemployed man was sentenced to 10 months’ jail by the Ampang Magistrate’s Court here today for trespassing into a nurse’s house.
Magistrate Haslinda A.Raof handed down the sentence on K. Sathiraj, 25, who pleaded guilty to the charge.
Sathiraj was charged with entering into the house of the 24-year-old nurse without her permission.
The offence was committed at a condominium unit at Sri Pandan Condominium, Jalan Pandan Mewah here, at 2.15am, last Oct 3.
The charge, under Section 448 of the Penal Code, provides an imprisonment for up to three years and fine of RM5,000, or both, upon conviction.
Deputy public prosecutor Raihanah Abdul Razak prosecuted, while Sathiraj was unrepresented. — Bernama
