KLANG, Nov 20 — The body of a man believed to be a foreigner was found with stab wounds and cuts on several parts of the body at Jalan Kasban, Meru here at about 2am yesterday.
Klang Utara District Police chief, ACP Mazelan Paijan said a passerby saw two men on a motorcycle trying to pull up the body that had fallen on the road near the Meru industrial area.
It is believed the 20-year-old victim had been killed elsewhere and the two suspects were carrying the body on a motorcycle to be disposed elsewhere.
“According to the witness, the two suspects tried to attack him using a machete but he managed to escape. He then returned with four friends and found the body left by the roadside but the two suspects had disappeared,” he said.
“On examining the victim’s body, we believe the victim was tortured and killed using a sharp weapon… there were stab and slash wounds on the chest, abdomen, torso and arms,” Mazelan told reporters when met at the opening ceremony of the Raja Muda Nala bridge, here yesterday.
