KOTA BARU, Nov 21 ― The Kelantan Football Association (KAFA) is keen to secure the service of an import coach to lead The Red Warriors next season.
Its president Bibi Ramjani Ilias Khan said so far the association is eyeing two candidates who are being observed and evaluated by KAFA management.
“We do not want to reveal the coaches as they are being observed and evaluated by us,” she said when contacted by Bernama today.
Earlier, KAFA announced assistant coach Santhit Bensoh had taken over the training of the team until a new coach had been found by the management.
Bibi Ramjani said among the factors to opt for a foreign coach was the need for the team to adopt a different technique for the Malaysia League challenge.
“We know our players are young and maybe they could pick up different techniques as well as take on a higher level of discipline from the foreign coach,” she said. ― Bernama
