TAWAU, April 8 — Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak urged the people to think about harmony, stability, peace and the economy when deciding to elect the government in the 14th General Election (GE14).
According to Najib, the people should also think about who was capable of bringing about progress and developing the country’s economy to be enjoyed by all levels of the people when determining whom their government of choice would be in GE14.
“We must see who can maintain harmony in our country, namely, a very compatible relationship between people of various races, religions and cultures. Regardless of the colour of our skin, we still remain in a solid bond.
“I see that Sabah is the best example in Malaysia (in terms of racial harmony),” he said when opening the Tawau International Cultural Festival (FKAT) here tonight.
Also present were Sabah Chief Minister Tan Sri Musa Aman, Sabah Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Seri Yahya Hussin, Sabah Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor and Sabah State Assembly Speaker Datuk Syed Abas Syed Ali. — Bernama
