KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 — Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Seri Najib Razak urged his coalition’s members to close ranks and keep the faith as they head into the final stretches of the 14th general election.
With the coalition due to announce its candidates soon, Najib met with incumbent lawmakers and leaders from the various BN components this morning at Seri Perdana in Putrajaya.
According to incumbent Santubong MP Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, Najib also expressed his gratitude to the attendees for their service.
“He also advised us that, for the general election, some names will rise while others will fall. Some will be nominated, and others will not.
“But whatever it is, we must remain faithful to BN,” he was quoted as saying by national news agency Bernama.
